Blogging and Writing Courses
Fun fact: for over seven years I was a gymnastics coach—and although those days are long behind me, I still experience immense joy in teaching others. On Skillshare, I run online courses about blogging and writing. Quite honestly, starting my blog Tremendous Times was such a game changer in my career that I use these courses as a way to help others make their dreams become reality. To date, I have over 7,500 students.
Another fun fact: also for over seven years I was an actor—and although those days are long behind me, I still love being in the spotlight. In front of a crowd I am a total natural, and I’ve made appearances at conferences like Women in Travel Summit and Photo Field Trip (Feb. 2017). Below are a couple of my developed sessions, and if you’d like to have me present one of these at your event—or create a new one that is best suited for your audience—then please contact me at theresa.that (at) gmail (dot) com.
Being a Travel Blogger (even when you’re not traveling!): How do you blog about travel when you don’t travel all the time? This session covers different brainstorming techniques and blog post styles to get travel bloggers who also call someplace home the inspiration and motivation to write.
Writing Amazing Content People Actually Care About: How can you take your creative spark as an artist and put it into words? Although you may be talented as hell, communicating through written word is imperative to promoting your work as an artist. This is a writing course geared towards non-writers and covers how to create content that will engage and interest the person they’re trying to reach.
