All the books I read in March

Yes, I’m doing my reading recap for March in the middle of April! I read 5 books and I’m excited to share all of them with you. There was quite a lot of DNFing for me in March (did-not-finish), but the 5 I did finish are all worth talking about. And yes, I did save the best for last.

A Winter in New York by Josie Silver
I enjoy Josie Silver’s books—they’re always really heartfelt but there’s also lots of romcom vibes. This one is just adorable and let me with a stupid smile on my face, and it also made me crave lots and lots of gelato.

The Ones Who Got Away by Roni Loren
I would read Roni Loren’s grocery list. Her writing strikes the perfect balance of gritty, real, funny, emotional, and sexy. Her characters feel like real people, so it’s super easy to get into her stories.

The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren
The Soulmate Equation is one of my favorite books, so naturally I had to read the 2nd book in this series! While it doesn’t dethrone The Soulmate Equation in my mind, it still had the signature CLo charm and wit.

Twelve Months and a Day by Louisa Young
This was a very unique romance book told not from 2 points-of-view, but 4—including the recently deceased partners of the two main characters. Needless to say, I read this book completely teary-eyed the whole time. It was really lovely, though, and if you’re looking for a book that will make you cry and then make you swoon (sort of like One Day but with an HEA), then you might want to pick this up.

Just Don’t Call Me Yours by Heather Garvin
My favorite book of the month! This was a new adult, enemies to lovers, forced proximity book that I just could not put down. The two characters get off on the wrong foot, very Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy-like, and then they can never correct the course of their interactions—despite the fact that they start to feel differently about each other. It was spicy good fun, and it’s getting a sequel!
