Thank you so much for signing up for my newsletter, and I’m so glad to have you along for the ride. As a subscriber, you can download my brother’s best friend vacation novella, Match Made in the Maldives (head here!), and you’ll get updates on future books, behind-the-scenes info, book recs, trope talk, and more, typically every other week and never more than once a week. Below you’ll find a little info on me, my books (including The Half of It, which comes out March 11th, 2025), and what you can expect being a subscriber.

About Me

In 2019, I was working as a travel journalist, traveling for half of the year (I even made it to all 7 continents). Then, in 2020, like the rest of the world I isolated at home. With a lot of time on my hands and absolutely nowhere to be, I started writing the romance novel I’d always told myself I would write but never had the time to. This book would eventually become The Half of It, my first novel (I’ll tell you more about that in a minute).

When I’m not writing or plotting out love stories between fictional people, I enjoy photography, roller skating, travel (obviously), and reading (also obviously). I live with my incredible husband and our two energetic cats, pictured below.

My Books

The books I write are influenced by my past work as a journalist and the kinds of stories I love to read. I want a novel to hand me a ticket to travel somewhere new, and I’m a sucker for emotional romances with nuanced characters—one with real flaws, real pasts, and real desires.

FYI All of my books have spice in them and HEAs (happy ever afters).

  • Luna Moore holds herself to the highest standards, but no one knows how imperfect her life is right now. Her priority is ensuring her family has an amazing time on their vacation to the Maldives, though—not burdening them with news of her struggling graphic design business or her cheating ex-boyfriend. She’ll put up a façade this week in paradise, and then she can go home to fix her mess of a life.

Finley Robertson needs to figure out what’s next after selling his business, and a vacation is the perfect reset button. As the long-time best friend of Luna’s older brother, Finn’s practically a Moore and they’ve treated him better than his own family. Although the way he feels about Luna is anything but familial, especially after that kiss three years ago…not that she remembers that.

The more time Luna spends with Finley, the more she lets her walls down. But getting involved with Lou means Finn could risk losing the only genuine family he’s ever known. When their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore, will they take a chance on love—or will the waves of reality crash down upon them?
